Change it up

I dunno about most people but every so often I think the same old gym routine gets boring. I hung up a heavy bag in my basement and started to box. I love it!!! Im no expert but it feels wonderful and Im dripping sweat afterwards. It feels like Im working different muscles too. I hop around and punch my ass off in 3-6, 3 minute sets. I’ll tell ya…those boxers have to be in unbelievable shape! Just jumping around punching tires me out…imagine if you were in the ring getting hit in the face/body at the same time! Anyway…swimming is also a great way to change it up. I like to try and swim 3 times a week and hit the bag even more. For me this makes my overall body transformation less of a routine and gets me more fresh and excited to think about and do.

    Excellent! One variable I’ve discussed is the importance of enjoying your exercise. We can debate the benefits of different types and styles but if you do not enjoy what you are doing the chances of success diminishes. The worst case scenario is that you are staying active and reaping its benefits…not a bad thing huh!
