Though I went to the gym and played tennis everyday, it was not enough to overcome the temptation of the “all you can eat” food plan. I was bad to the bone. Stuffed my face and my waistline suffered the consequences.

I am back in the saddle and ready to role, but this lapse both reminds me how the only way I am going to keep weight off is to continue to ban bad habits.

However, I have gotten a lot of exercise - hauling boxes up and down stairs, unloading my stuff and turbo cleaning (3 hours scrubbing my patio and furniture yesterday).

I miss the cardio, but at least I’m still moving (and not pigging out too badly).

I borrowed my husband’s car because he was blocking mine…which meant I didn’t have my gym ID, which I keep in the car.

I was discouraged, but I decided to see if they would let me in without my pass. They did, I worked out and I was grateful they cut me the slack.

I am not sure how the execs at LA Fitness would feel about this breach of security, but if they looked up my account, they would see that this is the first time this mishap occurred. They did the right thing for me and their business by letting me slide.
